X Marks The Spot empowers users through design. It is a simple set of parts that interlock to create a combination of objects to suit your needs. The process of assembly is tool-free; made possible with precise CNC machining that can be packed away and re-installed with ease. As the parts are modular, more can be added where necessary.

The core components are stained birch plywood and locally sourced plastic composed of milk cartons and caps diverted from landfill. The fusion of these two materials creates a family of parts that are functional and re-define how we experience a space according to the user. The X marks opportunity, an opportunity for users to curate their own space and experiences. The object can be a chair, table, bench, plinth or book stand.
