🡦 GOAT ISLAND EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC CENTRE

GRADUATION PROJECT
2016

Sound can be used to enliven our experiences, harmoniously working together to help us understand our environment. No other medium represents the sensitivity of ecology than sound and yet, sound is one of the most neglected signifiers of our immediate environment.

This project imagined an experimental cultural center (on Goat Island, Sydney) that aimed to untangle our experiences of high fidelity and low fidelity sound that bombards our everyday sonic experiences. I imagined visionary architecture that focused on human experiences and how the combination of sounds and space can encourage social interactions and education.
